Just One of Those Days

(Did you read the title and immediately think of Monica's song? Same! If not, you can check it out a bit later – I promise it’ll be stuck in your head!)

So, we all have those days when we wake up feeling crappy. We're lacking, energy, motivation and simply don't FEEL LIKE IT (whatever IT may be). Those days when everything seems to be going wrong or maybe we're just in a funk. The days when you question everything. The past seems relevant and future seems foggy. You're filled with anxiety and worry. It sucks. The reality is that we can't expect ourselves to jump out of bed every day and feel happy-go-lucky!

The next time you find yourself having one of those days >>

  • Self- Reflect.

What's the real issue? Learn the ROOT of the problem(s). Ask yourself what can be solved. If it can be fixed, fix it.

  • Be kind to yourself.

Know that you can't be everything to everyone. Lighten your load.

  • Relax.

Breathe. Pray. Meditate. Unplug. Binge Netflix. Take a mental health day (because WE NEED THOSE!)

Maybe you find yourself in the middle of “one of those days” or maybe you just need to take a step back from trying to figure everything out and let God realign your thoughts and change your perspective to view things as He sees them.

Know that you are not alone in having "THOSE" days. Maybe it's more than just a day, take the time you need. Don't allow anyone to make you feel bad about feeling bad! We're allowed to have not so good days, I promise.

Remember..... It's a bad day, not a bad life.
